2003

  • Shows not given since planetarium being used as a classroom due to high school renovation.
  • In summer a Tidal Gauge created at downtown dock.
  • Planetarium participated in July 4th parade with theme of 'The Solar System'.
  • The Impact of Asteroids presentaton sponsored by AK section of the American Chemical Society.

2004

  • Planetarium Grand Re-Opening (May 9th). Stars shown every 15th minutes using Spitz projector. In honor of Mother's Day,  the public invited to name a star for their mother. 
  • Participate in July 4th  parade.  Theme - The Solar System 
  • Summer - United States Map made with nails on downtown dock.
  • Eclipses: visible this month in Juneau (Oct 5 and 6)
  • Eight Planets Plus Pluto (Nov. 2 and 3)
  • Constellations of the Zodiac (Dec. 7 and 8)
  • Various planetarium volunteer training meeting held
