- Do you know students who are interested in astronomy and are entering 7th to 9th grade this fall? If so, we have an astronomy camp this summer! Students will learn astronomy basics while exploring the universe using real image data and robotic telescopes. How can we do real astronomy from a cloudy place like Juneau? How do backyard telescopes work? What can we learn from modern giant telescopes or space-based telescopes?
- This camp, led by Rosemary Walling, is a "pay as you can" camp and one of the Juneau Economic Development Council's STEM Summer Camps.
