Strangest Stars
In the aftermath of supernova explosions, strange stellar remnants are left behind. Among these remnants are a class of stellar objects called Neutron Stars.
Neutron Stars are the second smallest and second densest stellar objects, only surpassed by Black Holes. In Neutron Stars, matter is so compressed that the entire mass of a sun is squeezed down into an incredibly dense object with a diameter of less than 10 miles!
Join us as we take a deep dive into these supremely weird objects, which among other things, hold the key to the gold that led to the establishment of Juneau as a mining town
