Big Bang, Big Bounce
Friday, June 12th at 7:00 pm
  • The Universe emerged from a point of zero volume and infinite density - the Big Bang, 14 billion years ago. Currently space is expanding at an accelerated rate from Dark Energy. Will the Universe expand indefinitely until the Big Freeze, or will Dark Energy weaken and the Universe deflate to another singularity and possibly the birth of a new Universe from another Big Bang; the Big Bounce, a cyclic creation mechanism?

  • We will explore these topics with our Planetarium resources..

  • Show intended for teenagers and adults, but all are welcome
