Solar System Chaos
.jpg)

Our solar system appears stable and predictable. However, over millions of years, it is a chaotic dynamical system. Gravitational nudges between planets compound to produce changes that make long term planetary positions unpredictable. It is called the 3-body problem.
In addition, the early solar system endured cataclysmic collisions between planets. Evidence of this is present today on Mercury, Venus, Earth, Uranus and our moon.
Using our Digital system we will explore Solar System Chaos.
