What to Expect at Shows
Shows generally last an hour and include a main topic plus some of the following:

Juneau's Night Sky - see how it would look outside if it were a clear night. Viewing constellations currently in the sky and learning about their mythology.

Space News - about current astronomical and space exploration events

Movies and video clips.

Occasionally the show will reflect holidays such as Halloween and astronomical events, especially those we can observe in Juneau.

Topics reflect the interests and knowledge of presenters.

Each show is live and not prerecorded. It is a combination of videos, images, music and is presented by one to three of our knowledgeable staff.

Questions are encouraged and the presenter will ask the audience questions, don't be afraid to guess.

Audience interaction makes our presentations more fun for presenters and attendees.

Presenters may modify their presentation based on audience interactions.

Some people lay on the floor. We can provide a yoga mat.
